COVID-19 Updates

When it comes to the coronavirus and proposed payroll tax cut changes, Southern Payroll & Benefits wanted to be sure to update our clients and partners.  We realize that in many instances, this outbreak has had a negative impact on your business or personal lives, and we are here to help in whichever manner we are able.

First things first, small businesses and startups, you are not alone. We will make sure your employees are paid, your benefits work right, and that your team is taken care of throughout COVID-19.  Internally, we have taken precautions to keep our employees and their families as safe as possible.  If we are scheduled to meet with your business in the near-future, and you would feel more comfortable meeting virtually or via conference call, we completely understand, and are more than happy to accommodate your preferences.

Lastly, we will be closely monitoring developments of President Trump’s proposed Payroll Tax Cuts, as well as any Tax Filing extensions that may be granted by the IRS.  This is a fluid situation on both fronts, and we will be sure to update our clients with any pertinent developments.  Rest assured, if any tax changes are implemented, your company’s Payroll will be properly adjusted, with applicable payments continuing to be made, and your businesses keeping any funds that you would then be entitled to.
